I was born in Chandigarh, India. It is a city in North of India at the feet of the Lesser Himalayas that sprung up as the experimental capital. It was designed by the architect Le Corbusier. As a city it is perhaps unlike any other Indian city. There are wide open spaces and you can have a quiet, congestion free life, which is a bounty.
I came to the cryptocurrency scene in a very strange way. I had been roaming around in the lanes of Delhi with a Chinese friend, when he introduced me to a Russian man. This Russian was heavily into Bitcoin and basically convinced me over months to write for a Bitcoin website. I must admit I am a late convert and I was highly skeptical considering I am from a traditional personal finance background.
I must admit I love the cryptoscene. The best part about being a part of this community is the openness and the willingness to trust each other. Traditional personal finance and writing about it is great but there are just too many restrictions and worries about 'image management'. I think this is what I love now and I hope that at least the technology behind cryptocurrencies makes a real difference in the lives of billions of people who still do not have access to any sort of banking support.
As for me personally, I plan to use Steemit to write more about Bitcoin, Steem and of course other Altcoins. I am hoping that I will get the support of the people on this network as well.
