My recent trip to the remote island area of Tambalig, Zamboanga del Sur Philippines exposed a great need. No School! Can we build a steemschool with Steem, Steem dollars, Crypto Currencies and Love.

These kids have to commute by boat to the mainland 1 1/2 Hour motorboat ride one way. Then in the evening a 1 1/2 trip back. It has to be tiring for those who are doing this and many just cannot afford the commute. So these kids you see in the photos are not going to school.

My thoughts are, Let’s build a school!

The children in the photos are of school age, but are not attending school because they cannot afford the trip. From this particular spot, it takes about 90 minutes by diesel motor boat to make it to the mainland and then many miles to the nearest school.

It occurred to me that my partner and translator on this trip is a Dean of accredited schools in other locations in the Philippines.

Is this a match made in heaven?

Perhaps we add a guest cottage and folks that contribute can come and stay?
