Create a smile is a project handled annually by a group of people specifically for orphaned children on the 27th of may which is the children's day.
The create a smile project cater to the needs of a hundred and twenty(120) children from 5 different orphanages in benin.
A large hall is used for the event,the Discovery school hall Along technical school road. The children are then picked up from the various orphanages on that day to the venue where the event will hold.
The orphanage homes are;
- Eghosa orphanage
- Gods will Orphanage
- Remar foundation
- Good Samaritan home
- Holy child orphanage
All the kids are brought together and entertained,fed, there are fun activities to sharpen the children's mind like
- spelling bee
- bible quiz
- games
- pagentry etc
The major aim is for the kids to have a good time.
