I met early this year in February through Steemit. I liked her then for her frankness and willingness to ask whatever she isn't clear with (she knows what she want and is prepared to get it). So, she earned the name: boss lady. A few days after we started talking in February, I noticed something else about her: her willingness to help others with the little that she got. That was massive cos in today's world only few are willing to help others (even if it's fake, help is still help). Then she started the random act of kindness - sharing the little she earned from Steemit with those who truly needs it most.
It is true that those who truly need help, might not have access to the internet -
Connecting with those who truly need help is quite important for us as a society. So when I travelled to Benin on Thursday for Steemcamp show, I told Jules I'll truly want to visit this your popular mission road to see how she does it.
Can you see the smile on those kids faces? Those can't be bought. They forgot that they are homeless and broke. They still gave one of the most sincere smile I have seen on earth. At a time when most things we get are fake, this smile is precious to me.
Those twins are her favourite. Even when they were crying, they still want to be with her and she doesn't mind playing with in the sand with them - if it makes them happy.
That's doing what he knows how to do best.
This is the kind of charity I like to see. I am not really a fan of organized charity because often times so much money is used to run the organization that nothing remains to do something tangible for those who really need help. I believe in seeing a need for help and offering a helping hand. I'm really impressed with Jules #RandomActOfKindness. Please if you want to support this, visit her blog here and encourage her to do more.
Happy Birthday @Gee1 and The Itsnobigdeal twins
