Hive Forest Fundraising
Earlier today, I saw a post from saying that all her hand-crafted cardboard cut-out trees had been adopted from her "Adopt a Tree for Charity" initiative - all snapped up in less than a week 🙀
Firstly, it was unexpected that she was going to do this and secondly, the amount raised was an incredible:
176.10 Hive and 48.89 HBD!!!
Pauline has sent that over to my wallet just now and I did some quick maths when I was tagged in the post this morning:
Currently, Hive is priced at 25.8p so by my maths, £0.258 x 176.10 = £45.43.
PLUS
48.89 HBD (Assuming 1HBD = $1) is £39.57
So in total from the Adopt A Tree, I'll pay in £85 from Hive, which I'll match and make it £170 total.

True to my word, as soon as that came in, I paid £170 to my JustGiving page which you can see both on the page and sharing the screenshots below to keep things as transparent as possible - also on the comment thread on 's post:
Thank You
I'm not going to tag everyone who got involved with Pauline's fundraiser as she has already dinged you but thank you SO much for your generosity!
This gave a great motivation to get out there and continue with my 2020km Challenge in the last week! I even ran my furthest distance so far this year of 5.2 miles (8.3 km) and my total distance for the year is 748 km - booya!
There's still a long way to go but I'm now determined more than ever to get through - let's have it and keep those positive vibes going 💪
