Another great and kind support has come in to help and support some more needy students of Hope school which is one the schools located in Bugeywa, a Ugandan village located in Kamuli district. I went to this school a month a go and used the first donation of 75 SBDs to pay up school fees for 7 Students. For details to this project Check out my previous post here
While at the school i met the administrator and the entire staff of the school and spoke to them about the support that i had received from Korea to help and support some of their students who were struggling to pay up their school fees.
The headteacher of the school was very excited about this great act of kindness from the Korean steemit Community. He spoke to me more about the tough conditions of the different students at his school were facing in paying up their schools.
Most students in this school are from very poor families which are struggling financially. The school also is in a very needy state whereby every student is required to come along with posho and beans as a school requirement in order for the school to be in position to prepare food for them at school.
He presented to me a list of 25 needy students that really needed the school fees support, unfortunately the money i had with me was not enough to cater for all the 25 needy students. I paid school fees for only 7 students as planned and promised to come back to the school to pay for more students when i get more support.
Steem indeed has the power to impact the lives of very many people allover the world. Steem is a very valuable cryptocurrency that can be traded or cashed into fiat.
I would love to appreciate and the entire Korean Community for the great combined effort to support some needy students in Uganda with their Education. Today I have received a total 102Steem plus 13SBDs from
to help and pay up the school fees of some more needy students at Hope School in Bugeywa. This support is going to make a difference in the lives of some Ugandans.
Long live the great partnership and friendship of Uganda and Korea.
Am going to be travelling to the school soon to deliver the support to the selected needy students. Its quite a distance to get there because its a remote village that is 3 and half hours drive away from our capital city(Kampala).
It feels so great to lend a hand to the people in need when you are in position to do so. There is that inner supernatural joy you attain within you for having put a smile on the face of some one else in need. A going to keep you updated.
Together lets make the world a better place for some one.
