The "Cryptocurrency Market" seems pretty scary the last 2 weeks for many newbies who entered the markets in November and December. 👺
The charts on coinmarketcap have been seeing more red than green days of late. I've also heard throughout "Social Media" that all the new people are "scared shitless" about there investment and been quietly selling. Most of them have already lost half there investment. 😳
For about 6 months, I had so many new people asking for advice on what to invest in and how they should approach it. 🤷🏼♂️
Many of them start droppin' names like Digibyte, Dogecoin, IOTA, Monero, Dash etc... etc... I was so surprised that they already knew so much about "Alt Coins" and I asked them, "Where, did you get your information from?"
They said, "I watched people on Youtube and Facebook." SERIOUSLY! 🤣
I was thinking, most of them didn't even bring up "Bitcoin" and I wonders why so I asked them. They said that Bitcoin isn't fun and they heard that they can make more money doing "Alt Coins".
What also was so surprising that most of them didn't even know how to buy "Cryptocurrency" or let alone open an account with Coinbase... This blew my mind! 🤯
So I rarely or don't even give advice to people, if they markets go bad... they will all start blaming you and start having resentment toward you... it's not worth it. 🙇🏼
However, I do say one thing to all the people in the "Cryptocurrency Markets" regardless if they just started or been buying crypto for several months.
Your main goal is to accumulate or obtain "One (1) Bitcoin" first before you do anything else. Once you obtain that 1 Bitcoin be sure to lock it away and never touch it for a very long time. 📆
Here is the deal, I believe that people need to have at least 1 Bitcoin first before they start speculating on other "Alt Coins". Bitcoin is here to stay for a very long time and it's considered a "store of value" in the crypto space.
People are predicting that Bitcoin will hit at least $50,000 this year and hundreds of thousands of dollars down the road... I do understand that Alt Coins can have bigger "Gainz" but they also have bigger risks to the downside.
So my only advice is this, before buying anything else (Steem is fine); try your hardest to get at least 1 Bitcoin ASAP, in other words this Year!!! Put it away and I will guarantee (maybe lol) that 1 Single Bitcoin will be your whole retirement decades from now.
Most people will argue this opinion but that's fine, they probably don't even have 1 Bitcoin. It's a shame that so may people have an opinion on "Crypto" but don't even own 1 Bitcoin.
So what are you thoughts? Do you like my idea of getting at least 1 Bitcoin before speculating on other Alts? There is an exception however, STEEM will always be a good Buy! 🤑
