I'm usually not the type of guy who makes excuses but to honest with you, getting in shape after 40+ is 10x harder than when I was in my 20's and 30's. It's just the truth! š¤¦
One visit to McDonald's (shit is poison but delicious) will destroy me. It seems all that fat just instantly goes straight to my gut the next day. š¤£
I realized many years ago that I inherited some major bad genetics. So in other words, I know that I have to be more discipline than most people.
Could this be an excuse? š¤·āāļø
It's probably is, I just got to work harder on my stupid "physique goals" and shut off that inner negative voice that I tend to hear everyday.
If I don't get in shape now after 40, when will I do it? Probably Never. I must take action now because 50 is just around the corner.
Anyways, It's currently Thursday (1:30 PM) in Las Vegas right now and I need to go hit the gym before it gets crowded.
This post is really just for me to put my thoughts out there so that I can reflect back later and see how far I came on my little fitness journey.
I'm just trying to motivate myself... 𤣠š š
