I have been studying history over the past year and it has disturbing compared to what I learned in school. I wanted to learn why the country my ancestors built and live in accepts the death of black people by police/civilians. I now see how they use divide and conquer to take our power away but if people are not aware of these tactics they fall for the bait.
The sickest thing is when I post information or articles about racism, Im called a race baiter because I point it out. I have white friends that I have known for over 20+ years and some of the things they have said to me where quite shocking, but after studying it no longer shocks me and I have less and less friends.
