These days everybody around is talking about Artificial Intelligence. So much so that even the lazy government departments have started talking about AI Implementation in public governance. Though how do they intend to implement it is anybody's guess. Same thing happened a few years ago when everyone in the government and the regulatory banks started talking about implementation of blockchain. And what did they do to blockchain based crypto and crypto exchanges is for everyone to see.
However, before I go off on a tangent here, let me come back to point that I wanted to make. A friend and I were discussing about how Instagram has become all about videos and not everybody has time or skill to make/edit videos. Then he told me about Bing Image Creator tool where you give a prompt to the server and you get an artificially generated image.
So I ask him, it still not is a video. So the next part he told me was to bring this image to runway tool and ask the tool to animate the image. I tried it and it turned out to be something which I would not have been able to in a million years with all the Photoshops and Lightrooms because my creative skills are really below par.
The free subscription allows you to create a four second animation which when clubbed with, let's say four videos, makes a nice reel for Instagram or Facebook.
The final output turned out to be really cool. I don't know whether I am allowed to post AI generated content here on Hive but if anyone wants to see the reel, it is posted on my Instagram.
I then brought some of my photographs to Runway Tool and asked it to create a book cover as well as a book promo release video. As I have written a book long ago and I want to get done with my second book, I thought I should give it a try. Runway Tool did give me a book promo but that wasn't something really workable.
The prompts needed to be better. And the tool is in its nascent stage so I believe it will take some time before it becomes more intelligent.
The world of Artificial Intelligence is almost here and it is going to stay.
