Did you like that headline? Cool! Every day, I try to relive being five years old. That was the best year of my life. I had one speed: full-bore reckless. I earned many cuts, scrapes, bruises, scars, and even a dislocated leg. They were merit badges of honor. I chased butterflies, fireflies, frogs, and climbed trees. Brooks got dammed. Berries were picked. Then there was snow. I didn’t drive motor vehicles back in those days, so the snow was a tool of madness.
Being an adult, with a refined system of logic, as well as the skill of critical thinking, can never override the beauty of a child’s lack of malice, bigotry, judgmentalism, and fear of failure.
Five years ago, through self-exercises, I was able to bring my conscious and unconscious minds back together in tandem. That is something else a child possesses before they get to him/her.
