Someone asked in my last post whether child abuse of this magnitude still take place in this present generation. The answer is ## YES.

The 37-year-old allegedly beat the boy to death. Isauro AguirreThe boy’s step father) is also accused of starving Gabriel Fernandez, who died on 22 May 2013.
Mr Aguirre's defense lawyer here accepted during closing arguments that his client killed Gabriel, but claimed he did so in a fit of rage and the murder was not premeditated. Just listen to this annoying defense.
Another case of child abuse was by the boy's aunt.
Just imagine a 'big sister" that should protect her young nephew turned out to be the culprit. This is a young lady looking for God's favour. This is how it starts in an era of moral decadence. How can she maintain a peaceful home.
Three Children Rescued by a Child Protection Charity Organization
You may have heard about the three children rescued by a child protection charity organisation after they were allegedly tortured by churches in Akwa Ibom state. What did the children do, just hear from the horse’s mouth:

These kids just arrived the CRARN Children center. They were rescued by a team of our volunteers.
Two of them were in different prayer houses for months for a phantom deliverance and fraudulent exorcism before being thrown to the streets. "The scars and fresh burns of wounds on their bodies due to long term lashing, scalding and systematic tortures are not worthy of exposure."
My dear steemians, the wounds and scars were concealed in the interest of readers. The only girl among them said she ran away from a group of children in Oron in South-South Nigeria, when a man came to force them into his car.
This is how the hapless children are being trafficked into prostitution, child labor and sex slavery. Thousands of them surfer this fate in Nigeria and other remote parts of the world. Ritual killers are also on the sprawl for their body parts meant for black magic for politicians, businessmen and pastors who crave for miracle power.
Do not leave girl child with male relatives, the worst may happen - Policewoman warns parents in Zimbabwe
A police woman in Zimbabwe has warned parents not to leave their girl children in the care of male relatives to avoid sexual abuse. They believe that every man is a potential rapist based on experience. Youths also have been warned not to indulge in activities that may endanger their lives.
Findings have shown that about 69% of Nigerian children are victims of sexual violence. In Lagos State alone, there have been 1,110 cases of sexual violence reported between July 2013 – July 2015 and 98% of the victims are females while the other 2% are males. If this is the percentage between 2013 and 2015, just think what would have been the rate by now that child abuse is on the this era of increase. What do we do?
A 56-year-old Pastor Bags 15 Years for Sexual Abuse of Two Teenage Girls in United States of America (USA)
In another case: A 56-year-old pastor based in the United States (US) was reported to have bagged 15 years jail term after he was caught abusing two teenage girls in church. The clergy man founder of Hope Restoration Ministries and was said to have been carrying out this devious act in his church’s basement. He was said to have abused two young under aged girls, 12 and 14-years-old, who their names were not disclosed.
Thanks to the law enforcement agency for bringing this man to book. This shall continually be their portion, amen.
Grandmother of murdered baby girl calls for death penalty for killer adopted dad
Baby Elsie was taken into care from her mother Jemma – Sian’s daughter – when she was just five days old in November 2014.
Ms O’Brien has adopted Elsie’s older brother and sister, and wanted to do the same for the baby girl, beginning legal proceedings to become her guardian in January 2015 but the proceedings were not completed. Elsie died on May 29, 2016, having been adopted just a fortnight earlier by Scully-Hicks' husband, Craig Scully-Hicks, 36, following a seven-month period of fostering. The court decided that Matthew Scully Hicks had shaken Elsie, and she died four days later. He was handed a life jail sentence and told he will serve a minimum of 18 years.
Is this enough for this grievous offence? Although, this also depends on whether, the action was deliberate or not, besides the child is a baby, so it is difficult to determine whether he had committed previous abuse on the child such as exhibition of some fit of anger or other child abuse in the past. So in this case, it is only God that can judge him. Please comment.
When mother is away, my uncles take turns raping me —13-Year-old
On November 8, 2017, a 13-year-old girl, disclosed how her uncle’s — Saviour Philip, 35, and Paul Philip, 17—took turns to rape her in their one-room apartment in Lagos State. She also revealed that one of the suspects also assaulted her eight-year-old cousin, while their mother was away.
Vanguard Newspaper gathered that the victims and their mother moved into the suspects’ apartment five months ago, due to their parents’ inability to get an accommodation. The accommodation problem also forced the children to drop out of school. Speaking with Newspaper Reporter, the teenager disclosed that her uncles usually assaulted her sexually whenever her mother was away. ‘He threatened to kill me. According to the Junior Secondary School 2 student, “Paul started it. He usually did it in the afternoon when my mother and other tenants were away. I was arranging my siblings’ clothes one afternoon when he came from behind, lifted me and dropped me on the floor. “He covered my mouth when I wanted to shout. When he was done, he threatened to kill me if I told my mother or anyone. “When he is finished with me, he would call my little cousin inside and asked me to stay outside. At times, I would see him dipping his fingers into my cousin’s private part.” Let me not bore you with these innocent children's horrible experience.
But the short and simple story was that her mother was not aware of all the happenings. According to her mum, “I did not know that my eight-year-old niece was also assaulted until we got to Mirabel Centre, where my daughter was referred to for treatment. She said Saviour was always ‘fingering’ her and the result of the test at the hospital affirmed that. “The suspects are my distant relatives. I moved into their apartment with my daughter, niece and unborn baby, pending when we will get an accommodation, while my husband was putting up with his friend. This wicked act started in June, when I went to deliver in the hospital. I never suspected they could do such a thing to these children each time I left them in their care because we are related.” However, the case was transferred to the Gender Unit of the state’s Police Command, from where the suspects were charged to Magistrate Court 2, Ikeja, the previous day. They could, however, not meet the bail condition of N400,000 each, given by Magistrate Osunsanmi. Consequently, Paul was remanded at a forester home in Abeokuta, Ogun State, while Saviour was remanded at the Kirikiri Prisons, with the case adjourned to December 4, 2017.
This is just this year December but wait until you hear the worst of them all.
Abomination as man rapes his 16-year-old daughter
A 52-year-old man pleaded guilty to raping his 16-year-old daughter. The man, Paul was docked on a one-count charge of unlawful defilement of his 16-year-old daughter.

The prosecutor told the court that the defendant has been committing the offence since 2012. Just imagine what a poor young girl has been going through in the hands of her own father that is supposed to protect her. What a wicked world.

I tell you of a truth, that all these things has been happening but people have been ashamed to report them either to protect their children from stigmatization that might follow after the report. Now people are wiser. Moreover, those days justice is usually far from the less privileged because the accused will use money then to close the case, so people will live with the pain than adding salt to their injury.
In India, a 16-year-old Girl who was gang-raped in UP, Seeks Help from Passerby.
She was allegedly gang-raped in Lucknow’s Sarojini Nagar on Saturday night - 9th December, 2017 by two youths, one of whom was known to her. She was raped again by a passerby, whose help she had sought to reach home. Can you believe that?

A schoolboy (Class 2 ) was kidnapped in Sahibabad, forced to beg on the streets of Haridwar all in India, during the day and allegedly subjected to sexual abuse by his abductor at night for four months before he escaped and was rescued by a cop who took him to an orphanage from where he was reunited with his family - December 12, 2017.

BBC News reports that in India alone, the rate of Child Sexual Abuse is at: ## Four Child Victims Every Hour. When you calculate it per day, weeks, months and year, you will discover that the answer will be mind-blowing.
England and Wales are not left out.
The hour-long Channel 5 documentary film on Rape: My Story, made by Lambent Productions with support from Rape Crisis England & Wales and its members and airing at 9.00 p.m. on Wednesday, 22nd Nov 2017, showcases some of the real stories of victims of rape in that part of the world..
Through the testimony of ten survivors, the experience from the emotional and psychological impact to the interrogation of the legal process was very honestly brought to life. Every account reflects a deeply personal experience, but common themes echo across the film, giving insight into what survivors and victims think and feel, how they are treated, and what determines and informs their actions afterwards. The opined that:
“Rape isn’t just one night, it isn’t the event, it’s what happens afterwards”, and that:
“The shame was just a massive, massive weight that crushes you, and it stops you from speaking out. And also, that huge fear that you’ll tell someone and they won’t believe you”.
My people, I only picked cases that you can read here. There are worse cases are out there but this is clear evidence that it is happening everywhere around the world. I am happy that victims are speaking up now, that no amount of threat can hold them back from speaking out. Let us all lend our voices to the fight against incidence of child abuse in any form that is about to swallow up our pride, which is our children. It is very unfortunate, something must be done, for a drastic case requires a drastic action and measure, let us apply it in our little way in our small communities. Don't forget, Rome was not built in a day and little drops of water makes a mighty ocean. Let us lend our voice in condemning this monster called child abuse, especially rape and murder of our dear innocent and defenseless children. Let us put ourselves in place of these suffering and heart-broken parents to see what can be done to reduce it to the barest minimum, if not to eradicate them from the face of the earth.
