πParty Time!π
It's been a whole year since my second son, Vincent, arrived on the scene, and it's been an amazing year! He's incredibly smart, and to call him strong willed would be an egregious understatement. Much like his brother, Carlin, he's destined to do great things, and I love how far our little family has come, and the tracks we are laying down that will take us to a happy and fulfilling future.
His birthday is Wednesday, but his party was yesterday, and man, was it a blast! We had a Onederful Circus at the park with some of our favorite people, on one of the most beautiful days we've had so far this year!

My little conqueror woke up in a great mood!
From the moment we woke up, it was go, go, go, but like nearly everything, he took it in stride, and his big smiles, random babbling, and excited laughter make the running around much more enjoyable. π

We have 's momma to thank for this awesome big-top cake to fit the circus theme of his party, and she even made a smaller cake on the side especially for the birthday boy!

The best thing about the smaller cake is that it was made to be SMASHED!
Smash Cakes on first birthdays are a big tradition in my family, because it's always hilarious and cute to see a tiny human smear cake and icing all over themselves!
