The basilisk lizard mainly eats fruit, but bugs when available. This reptile also lives high in the trees. When feels threaten it will jump onto the water, and run!
Using fringes on his feet to make water bubbles to walk on. Giving this reptile the nickname "Jesus Lizard".
The males have a large spine on they're backs and are darker green in color!!
When I say spine i mean like spineasaurus. Not like the bone array. Check it out!!

Domesticated Basilisk might never learn to run on water . They live in the amazon rain forest, and ONLY run on water when they are in a matter of life or death. Meaning you wont see the action unless you're a bad lizard owner. Just don't be a bad owner. They tend to be quiet, and as far as I know make no noise. They don't have a long tongue like a chameleon, but is longer than a gecko. They can't run forever on water but are good swimmers when they get tired.
As a human you would need to run 65 mph to run on water like the Basilisk. While the Basilisk only need to go 5 mph!!!
