Out of all the book series we've gotten Bella recently I have to say I like these the best.
They're colourful without being over the top and the illustrations are just lovely. Great colour harmony on every page too which is great. It's got a soothing vibe rather than the in your face "POWW!!" of contrasting bright colours.
The "hide and seek" feature is pretty fun. The flap is made of felt with little rubber/plastic accents to give it a different texture. Really great for those kids who are coming from the "touchy feely" books like Bella.
Also a really great book for those babies who love to play hide and seek. This is just another way to play it with them and teach them new things at the same time.
At the moment, I'm keeping these books in her stash. She's still a bit rough and I'm concerned she'll rip the flaps as soon as she gets her little fingers on them.
I'm currently teaching her to play gently. Like, "Please play with Mamma's hair gently...."
Ohhh, by the way, did I mention it's a rhyming book?
There's two other books in the series: 'On the farm' and 'In the jungle'. Depending on how she goes with these two I might get her those as well.
