Flight data bolsters claim China Eastern plane was deliberately crashed in 2022
"newly released data appears to indicate that someone in the cockpit may have intentionally switched off the fuel supply to the engines
[...] Fuel switches on commercial planes are physical controls that regulate the flow of fuel to the engines. On the 737, a pilot must pull the switch up before moving it from the run to cutoff position.
“This data clearly shows that the fuel switches were manually placed in the off position just prior to the crash,”
[...] “There is no indication the switches were placed back to the on position. That indicates there was no attempt to restart the engines,”"
--- Which pretty much confirms the speculations which were there right from the start.
"the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) has not addressed the crucial question of what had prompted the deadly nosedive of China Eastern Airlines flight MU5735 in March 2022"
--- Because the CCP does not want to admit the epidemic of revenge against society attacks, of which this one is only the biggest. All the citizens in Emperor Xi's China are happy, so why would there be a need for revenge against society?

Explosion at China fireworks factory kills 26 people
"An explosion at a fireworks factory in China's Hunan province has killed 26 people and left 61 wounded, according to state media."
--- According to state media. So we can safely assume that the victim number is actually up to 10 times as high.
By the way, there are lots of huge explosions and fires in China which we never hear of in the West. Though they usually would be big news. But the CCP doesn't want that news to come out. In this case it seems the explosion was just too big to hide completely.
"The impact of the blast was so destructive that windows of a nearby residential building were shattered, a CCTV reporter noted"

"Speaking to Beijing News, a resident who lives about 1km away from the factory said villagers now have to take detours after stones were blasted onto the road.
"The glass windows in our homes were shattered, aluminum window frames were deformed, and even the stainless-steel doors were twisted out of shape,""
--- But we are supposed to believe that in a nearby building only some windows were shattered? Yeah, right.

China’s rare defiance of US sanctions sparks showdown over banks
"While the blocking measure is not likely to derail the Xi-Trump summit, Washington’s reaction to it will indicate if the matter escalates, according to analysts from Eurasia Group. “The refineries primarily work with Chinese banks that have not yet been directly sanctioned,” the analysts led by Mr Dominic Chiu wrote in a note. “If the US extends secondary sanctions to those institutions, or major state-owned entities, Beijing would likely respond with more forceful countermeasures.”"
--- Meh. China has loads and loads of banks and all of them under state control. So, if the U.S. will sanction a few of them, nobody really cares.

EU moves to ban high-risk inverters from China over cybersecurity threats
"An EU official stated that 'serious' economic and cybersecurity threats had been identified, adding that the Commission’s evaluation was based on both classified and publicly available information submitted by several member states.
The European Commission will gradually eliminate the use of Chinese-made inverters in EU-funded energy projects"
--- Better late than never.
""We hope the EU will uphold the principles of technology neutrality and non-discrimination, avoid introducing non-market barriers into green finance and infrastructure cooperation, and continue to foster an open, predictable environment that supports global collaboration on the energy transition," a CCCEU spokesperson told Euronews.
The CCCEU spokesperson suggested that framing inverters in geopolitical terms risks over-securitising normal commercial technologies and could undermine fair competition, investor confidence, and the stable functioning of global supply chains in the clean energy sector."
