just spent 3 weeks in China. Went to regional cities such as Nanchong, Chengdu, Chongqing. very interesting. main takeaways are:
1.) they are mad drivers but still felt safe. Even on pedestrian crossings when the lights are green, you are still dodging cars.
2.) food is actually very nice (even though I was not sure what I was eating)
3.) People were very nice, and they went out their way to make me feel welcome. Not many could speak English .!(
