What does unreciprocal love mean?
This simply means showing love to your spouse, friends, family members, children, colleagues, church members etc even when they are a definition of evil itself.
Loving self and others can be really hard and even when you do get around to loving, you get thrown into a shade of pain like never before felt.
The greatest love is not one given out of satisfaction but one given especially when the reward is not known despite the pain it bring when you give it.
This is that season where unreciprocal/undeserved love is shared. The death for the sake of the love of the world and then the resurrection, for the sake of the love of the world. These two happened for the singular sake of love for the world we live in. Jesus Christ did it all!
Looking at the season that is being celebrated, I am just going to pick some very few words and that is, "we must continually aim for perfection after God's own model." We must be very ready and loving enough to put first steps out to make love to be felt by all and sundry.
Why do you give unreciprocal love to others.?
The simple answer is "it feels good to give love not minding the rewards and despite what the pains may be associated with that act." undeserved love is what lots of us are living with because, we do not deserve anything good.
The world is known to be run by greed and selfishness. Knowing that there is joy in giving more than is need sure makes the giver a happier person alive.
Get primed and be ready to love because while we were and are yet sinners and enemies of God, Christ died for us in the most brutal way conceived by man. Romans 5:8.
What love is this?
I actually cried when I watched "The Passion of the Christ," have you seen that movies? It was created and directed by Mel Gibson and it graphically tells of the death and crucifixion of Jesus Christ.
Looking at life's pains and the heartache that comes painted in it, you will understand that there is so much to live for when you have love inside of you.
