The Bible instructs us to redeem time making use of every opportunity because the seasons are wicked . It is important that we be able to detect our time and season . We ought to be able to decode when the moment we have been waiting have arrived.
In Luke 19:41-42 ,we see this :
[41]And as He approached, He saw the city, and He wept [audibly] over it,
[42]Exclaiming, Would that you had known personally, even at least in this your day, the things that make for peace (for freedom from all the distresses that are experienced as the result of sin and upon which your peace–your security, safety, prosperity, and happiness–depends)! But now they are hidden from your eyes."
Jesus was specifically sent to Jews for their redemption. He came to fulfil that call but the people He was sent to, couldn't recognize Him. In reacting to the response of the people ,Jesus wept. Why did He weep?
God is always in the habit of blessing delivering and answering prayers. It breaks His heart when we live in lack of the very things He had stretched out His hands to give. It is essential in all cases that after we have prayed and answers have been given ,we move ahead to take up the answers.
The Jews had earnestly awaited a Messiah but many missed Him. And the reason was simple : they weighed spiritual matters by physical standards/scales . They couldn't believe that a Messiah will be born at a manger and to all men on earth ,God choose the house of Joseph, a carpenter.
To prevent us from making such mistakes as our Jewish brethren, we now have indwelling within us the HOLYGHOST Who is "totally" committed to leading us into all truths. Even when you don't get it all, following the Holyghost Is No Risk.
Thanks for reading and remain blessed.
