I am back sharing from the book, Blueprints for a solid marriage, of Dr Steve Stephens. He uses the analogy that your marriage is like a home. Each room or space in the house represents a different area of your marriage.
I now look at the patio which represents the Aesthetic Togetherness in your marriage. To enjoy beauty together from your patio makes live more positive and beautiful. It represents a place of simplicity and an escape from the hectic pace of life.
There is so much beauty in the Creation around us every day. To make time to enjoy and appreciate this beauty with your spouse will bring you closer to each other and it will be quality time spent together. Sunrises and the ocean are very special for Scotty777 and I. Whenever we make time to go see the sunrise together it made for special moments of togetherness. We love the ocean, whenever we lay on the beach and swim in the sea it brings us closer together as it something we both appreciate and enjoy so much.
The photo above of the sunrise I took when we were on honeymoon 10 years ago and I still remember the beauty of that morning like it was yesterday.
Notice the many beauties of nature and share them with each other. Here are some of the most beautiful things in nature.

Plants, trees, flowers and fruit.
Every season brings it's own beauty.
God's natural creation changes from season to season. In the spring, green buds appear on the trees and the music of birds fill the air. Warm showers invite flowers to blossom everywhere. In summer you will see a whole new arrangement of flowers blooming. Now winter time here in South Africa you see the Aloe's blooming everywhere, some against backdrops of beautiful mountains and here where we stay against the wonderful backdrop of the ocean.
Enjoying the multifacited beauty of nature together involves sharing your experiences using all five senses. Seeing the full moon stand strong on a canopy of sparkling stars during a romantic night. Hearing the morning song of birds outside your bedroom window. The soft touch of your lover's hair on a lazy summer day. The clean smell of the forest after an afternoon walk in the rain. The sweet taste of feeding each other freshly picked strawberries. God gave you five senses to share His beauty with each other.
Work on this Aesthetic togetherness by making time to see the beauty, experience it with all five senses and sharing it with each other. This is a wonderful area of togetherness that brings great enjoyment and makes for wonderful memories.
