Scripture Reading: 2 Corinthians 9:11; Jeremiah 30:9 and Psalm 9:1.
Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:18
From the beginning of the year till now many are the things that have happened; be it good or bad and successful or failed stories. In all these happenings God has been so faithful to us. We may have gone through bitter or unimaginable scenarios in the course of the year but that shouldn't distract or prevent us from thanking God. You may be asking yourself "how can I thank God when I've lost my spouse or close family, my job or a loved one?", "how can I thank God when I experienced more sad events than happy ones?", "how can I thank God when hospital has become my new home, when I struggle to put food on the table, when I'm out of school due none payment of fees" etc.

No matter our experiences in the year God has been faithful to us and therefore we ought to wholeheartedly thank Him. In as much as we breath and have our being God is at work. If God used only a day to create the Heaven and the earth and your problems or challenges can't measure up to the size of the earth then He'll surely put a big smile on your face. Take a moment today to express your gratefulness to the Lord for in all circumstances we ought to give Him thanks. I have been through a lot this year but there are numerous reasons to thank God.
