People who are unsaved and know It, but care less about it.
The man I experienced long time ago which I told the story of my encounter with him in one of my recent post exemplified this classification of individuals—the individuals who are unsaved and know it. It might appear to be odd to us that there could be such individuals, particularly since numerous today accept that everybody goes to paradise when they Leave this life. Be that as it may, dear apostle Paul discusses this class of individuals toward the finish of Romans 1. Subsequent to giving a rundown of all the different sins and indecencies that fallen mankind rehearses, he reaches the conclusion that fallen individuals do these things as well as urge others to do them—regardless of realizing that the individuals who do such things invites death. (v. 32).
Paul is letting us know in Romans 1 that individuals don't need to be presented to scriptural knowledge to know about their lost state. Through God's normal disclosure, as God composes His law on the hearts of individuals and inserts His Word in the human personality by method for soul, individuals realize that they are chargeable for their conduct and that they are out of association with their Creator.
At first glance, numerous individuals deny that they are in threat of the fierceness of God; they may even preclude the presence from claiming God. In any case, the Bible says, "The underhanded escape when nobody seeks after" (Prov. 28:1), so underneath the surface and behind the exterior of regular fallen humankind, there is an attention to such inconvenience before God. That is the reason we have the wonder of "foxhole transformations," when individuals, in the most recent days of their lives, all of a sudden calm down, require the cleric or the clergyman, and endeavor to get their everlasting life insurance.
You may have heard the tale of W. C. Fields, who, when he was lying on his deathbed, flabbergasted the individuals who knew him by leafing through his Bible. One companion said to him, "W. C., what's happening with you?" Fields answered, "Searching for escape clauses." Though his answer was framed in his run of the mill humor, unmistakably Fields knew that he was in an extremely unstable state as he was going to confront his Maker.
Now is the accepted time, now is the hour of salvation.
