It is not too late! God’s Promise “I will Restore!”
1Sa 15:29 And also the Strength of Israel will not lie nor repent: for he is not a man, that he should repent.
There are two of my favorite scriptures
Pro 24:16 For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief.
Lam 3:22 It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.
Lam 3:23 They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.
You see God’s mercies are new every morning and what He expects of us is to get back up!
I hear God’s people talk about giving up or losing hope when life throws them a curveball. A marriage is broken, something goes wrong, making it look like there is no hope, a dream that may never come true. A doctor gives us there prognosis and we are ready to accept at face value, without first consulting the Lord.
The enemy of our soul whispers in our ear, “This looks really bad!” We are ready to believe the worst things! We have no hope, because we neglect to consult God, we forget to pray, we forget to trust! We forget to live by faith!
We think we are too old, not smart enough, the window of opportunity has passed. We think of all of the time that was wasted. Perhaps you think you failed God to the point of no return! Is your failure greater than the blood of Jesus?
But God’s promise is to restore! Somehow He gives us back even our wasted days. As long as we are alive and in Christ, the possibilities in our life are as numerous as the possibilities available to God!
79 year ol Bulgarian Lady
I met a lady in Bulgaria who was born again at age 70. She was 79 when I met her. In less than 10 years she had planted 10 churches. What limits us is not other people, not our background or ancestry, not the unplanned things that life sent our way! What limits us is our capacity to believe God! He is a Restorer! He is the Great Physician! He has all power!
The Bible says of Abraham, when there was no hope, he hoped against hope! He considered the One Who made the promise! If you are alive today, you are here for the purposes of God! With Him nothing is impossible!
Joe 2:25 And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you. And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed
It is time to renew our faith in the most Faithful One! He is the lover of your soul. He is your glory and the lifter of your head. He is the One that began a good work in yiu and will finish it. He is the One and only Jesus Christ.
I am praying for everyone that reads this. Your hope will be renewed!
God bless!
