"Remember the word to Your servant, Upon which You have caused me to hope. This is my comfort in my affliction, For Your word has given me life."
Psalms 119:49-50
One of the worst things that can happen to anyone walking with God, being in a relationship, facing career challenges or dealing with any intricate issue; is to lack a backup or fall back word from God or your promisor.
One of my greatest joys in the face of challenges is that, more often than not, way before I face the challenges, God sends backup or fall back words.
The words stimulate faith, toughen my patience and give me impetus to continue.
The Chorus and the second stanza of the song of Manie Ferguson, "Blessed Quiteness" are apt:
"Blessed quietness, holy quietness, what assurance in my soul! On the stormy sea He speaks peace to me,
how the billows cease to roll!
Bringing life and health and gladness, all around this heavenly Guest, banished unbelief and sadness, changed our weariness to rest."
**I pray that we will never lack a word to hold unto as we strive to conquer the torrents of life. **
Good morning and God bless you
** Do have a wonderful day ahead!!**
