CHRISTIANS, PRAY FOR LEAH SHARIBU

Remember Leah Sharibu? One of the 100 abducted Dapchi girls, who has refused to compromise her faith in the Den of Boko Haram in Nigeria. Incase you don’t know, miss sharibu is one of the over 100 schoolgirls kidnapped by the Boko Haram in Dapchi, Yobe State Nigeria, earlier in the year. While all her other schoolmates who survived the ordeal have been released by the terrorists, she was held back by the Boko Haram for allegedly refusing to denounce her Christian faith.

Efforts made to release her
A United States, US-based Nigerian group has protested strongly against the threat to kill the lone Christian captive in the hands of Islamic militant group, Boko Haram, ’ leah sharibu, asking the Federal Government to allow interested parties pay the ransom to secure her release. The group also alleged that it reached out to be United Nations to intervene, when it got news of plans to kill the hostages in the detention centres of Boko Haram but lamented that no action was taken.
The bring back our girls group have protested a thousand times with no aid coming from the government to the poor girl.
Her life in danger as the terrorist group, Boko Haram has threatened to execute the only Dapchi school girl left in their camp, leah sharibu if the Federal Government do not yield to their demands. The insurgents claimed that they had contacted government over the captives but did not get any response.
On this day I call on all Christian all over the world to pray for the release of this girl and well as other well meaning human right organization to call for her release.
