I have been watching with keen interest the explosion of videos on YouTube about the fulfilment of the prohecy of Revelations 12 on the 23rd of september, 2017.

Will that day signal the coming of the Lord? 

Will it be of any significance or it will just pass as another day?

Are channels on YouTube just jumping on the bandwagon to increase their subscribers base?

Firstly, lets go through the scripture to have a view of what the prophecy is all about;

Revelation 12:1-2  

And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:

And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.

According to these videos on YouTube the Sun will be in constellation Virgo alongside Jupiter with the Moon at the feet of Virgo. Constellation Leo will be to the right of Virgo forming a crown. Leo is said to be composed of nine stars but on this day the planets Venus, Mars and Mercury will be in Leo forming a crown of twelve stars.

Jupiter will be near the womb of the Virgo and promoters claimed the Hebrews associated Jupiter with Christ.This is a rare occurence according to the protagonists and is a fulfilment of Revelations 12.

Disclaimer:  I am no astronomer, so i decided to read up on this particular issue and this is what i found out;

Leo has more than nine stars.

The sun moves through the twelve constellations in a year spending approximately a month in each one.

The moon appears seemingly at the feet of virgo each month.

Jupiter appears in the womb of Virgo along with the Sun and the Moon at its feet every twelve years.

So what makes this year event so popular? Probably its the advent of the internet specifically in this case YouTube.

FINAL THOUGHTS

No one knows the hour of the coming of the Lord.But we must strive to be ready for His return always.
