“And which of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life’s span? If then you cannot do even a very little thing, why do you worry about other matters?”
- Jesus
~The "S.U.T. - D.I.E.T"~

Despite its utter futility, I all too often worry about things. I find myself looking farther into the future than I ought to.
Have you ever shared this problem?

Brothers and Sisters all!
I want to share a "micro-sermon" with you, just a bit of encouragement I've enjoyed recently...
I had been struggling a bit lately with discouragement. Trying to put my finger on the source, I concluded that I was focusing on potentially bad future circumstances that haven't even happened yet.
Then the LORD kindly reminded me of something out of the Real Bible (you know, the King Jimmy Edition?😜):
"Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof." - Matthew 6:35
And so I'm trying to mindfully go on a "SUT Diet"...
... which is an acronym I just made up for
"Sufficient Unto The Day Is (the) Evil Thereof."
orS.U.T. - D.I.E.T.
I'm going to remind myself that I'm on the SUT Diet, and that I only need to think about today's evil. I need to be sure I'm dealing with today's evil alone. There's plenty today to worry about without thinking about tomorrow, or any other days to come.
That's the SUT-Diet in a nutshell...
Try it, you might like it!
