Our God is a prayer answering God.
Psalm 65:2 O thou that hearest prayer, unto thee shall all flesh come.
He doesn't snub, ignore or just stored away our petitions as His children, rather He answers them.
Jer 33:3 Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.
Matt 7:7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
However, there's a "how" to pray to command the answer we require from the Father.
That's why the disciples of Jesus Christ came enquiring of Him; "master teach us how to pray".
Luke 11:1
And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples.
Now, as seen in the Lord's prayer, Jesus gave His disciples a few keys to praying a prayer that commands answers.
One of the keys to answered prayers as visibly expressed in scriptures is praying in the name of Jesus.
John 14:13-14
13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.The name of Jesus can be likened to our access code in Prayers.
Whenever you make a call outside your country of residence, you must include the dial code of the other country for your call to go through.
The name of Jesus is the dial code that gives us access to the Father.
Without the name, our prayer calls may never go through.
Even faithful, committed, dedicated, relentless kingdom stewards must ask in the name of Jesus for the Father to be obligated to deliver.
Jn. 15:16
Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, He may give it you.
The name of Jesus commands attention with God the father.
The Father gives attention when we pray in the name of His son.
