The end is near is such an outdated cliche’.
Everyone is happy and there is no longer a need for an invisible God.
2000 years is a long time to wait for Jesus to return. It is also long enough for generations to totally forget about Him and for people to think that He never even existed. If it seems like people have erased God from culture now, what will things be like in the year 3000 and beyond?
980 years from now, technology and knowledge will increase to the point that all of life will become filled with leisure and abundance. People will no longer feel the need to look to a higher power for answers. People will trust science and super computers to repair any malady and answer any conundrum.
The words of God found in the Bible are already considered hate speech and politically incorrect. Augmented and virtual reality can seemingly satisfy any and every fantasy to the point of people being so addicted that they never even get out of their beds.
People will be so used to having bio-mechanical implants in their bodies that that the idea of using coins or paper for money will be laughable. Cash and cards will be so outdated that it will be like us thinking about bartering with beans and chickens, What the bible calls the mark of the beast will be accepted as completely normal and the very few people left on the Earth that have not integrated into the system and taken the mark will exist only in the shadows.
Universal basic income will provide for humanity’s every need and hunger will belong only to those who do not conform to the image of this world.
The only question that will remain unanswered is, “What happens when we die?” Computers and scientist have made many suggestions but humans will still have an unshakable fear about the afterlife.
Jesus will remain humanity's only Hope. Will there be anyone left who will still believes in Him?
