Happy Friday Great Steemians. Glad the weekend is upon us and we are alive to witness it.
First off...
It's been one great week filled with great activities - people waking up, living their lives, rushing off to work, children going to school, helpless loved ones to care for, bills to pay, groceries to pick up, shopping and more shopping etc etc and also, it's the Black Panther buzz week. Oh yes. To those who could, hope you really enjoyed watching the Black Panther movie??
OK. Focus away from the movie. Here's a celebration of the power women wield which I'll refer to as feminine power. Women have the potential to increase and improve their feminine power to change the world around them and leave their marks on the sands of time. One of their greatest powers is the power of influence.
When God created man, He designed them to possess raw physical strength with which they could easily bend and fashion things to their will. They could easily achieve a lot through their physical prowess.
But the female, God imbubed with the power to influence things to happen the very way they desire it to be. For this power to be highly effective, a maximum amount of strategizing is also needed. This can achieve a whole lot more quicker than the physical strength of a man ever can.
The Bible records the account of Esther (Hadassah), a Jewish refugee who rose to become the Ahaserus'queen and of Susa. Queen Esther did not have to put King Ahaserus in stocks or pillories before she could save the life of her people. The feathery touch of a woman was all she strategically needed to execute her plan. The way she got her husband to issue a decree mandating the Jewish to fight for their lives is a shinning example of the positive result of a feminine power well executed.
Abigail, the wife of Nabil didn't use physical strength against her husband when he displayed folly against King David. Shealsi didn't wait to war it out with David. Instead, she used her feminine influence to calm King David down.
It was Naomi's strategic planning that helped Ruth become a wife to Boaz. She didnt go about whispering into the ears of Boaz about how she had the perfect wife of all for him. She groomed Ruth on how to prim herself and the latter listened to her experienced advice.
Women the world over need to understand the nature of the gift God has blessed us with. This is a huge responsibility and a great privilege to influence and shape the world the very way we desire to. So, in our little corners of the world, let's keep doing our best to influence our families, communities and nation to the very best it can be.
Keep Shinning.
