Many church goers have misconception developed in them about offerings. These people don't see reasonable justification for offerings giving in Church which is house of God.
Probably they take offerings for donation that they give for supporting one or two missions.
Yes, donations also feature in our various churches today. This is because we need to develop the place where we are gathering to worship God.
Therefore, we should not be carrying the mind that we support the Church while we present our offerings. Donations are supports while offerings are oblations.
What offerings do is revelation of your faith in existence of God. It tells us that you are testifying to the glory of existence of God despite that no one sees Him physically.
From this, spiritual connection of your spirit with the spirit of God is justified to be real.
What does the Word of God say about offerings?
1 Chronicles 16:29
- Ascribe to God the glory due to his name. Bring an offering, and come before him. Worship God in holy array.
Amplified Bible
When you show your obedience to God's command and instruction and you do them accordingly, it is certain that He will reward you abundantly.
Despite this offering, donation is also rewardable but we should not take them for each other.
When you donate in the Church and contribute to the development of the Church and Gospel, you plant a seed of faith.
Anything you are giving out in the name of the Living God, must attract great reward that no one on this earth can give you except God Himself. Just do it with faith.
Moreover, the book of Proverbs 19:17 says;
"He who has pity on the poor lends to God; he will reward him."

Here, we learned that when we give to the poor despite the fact that we know that the poor won't repay us, we are lending to The Lord. Lending to the Lord attracts great reward as He will surely repay it.
So, your offerings and obedience in connection to God are very important and sacred.
Some other people will say, what is the new thing that God has done for me that I will give offering for?
Anyway, they have to look around them, there must be something to be sighted that God has blessed them with.
God has done a lot of things in our lives and these things make God qualify to receive our worship, praise and much adoration.
There are many ways to praise, worship and adore Him one of which is PRESENTATION OF OFFERINGS.
