Ephesians 1:
16 Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers;
17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:
18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
The traditions of the church have hidden the simplicity of Christ and the message of truth to many. There are many ideas of who or what God is but there is only one truth. The Bible teaches that there is only one God, the God of the Lord Jesus Christ.
I share in Paul's prayer, that the eyes of your understanding would be enlightened so that you may know they hope of his calling.
Jesus' God is our God and we know this God is true because He raised Jesus from the dead. He will raise you too if you put your faith in Jesus Christ, not as God, but as your Savior.
John 10:11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.
Jesus is the good shepherd who gave his life for us, so that we may live too, by the grace of the living God.
