In a family, it is very expedient to discipline a child, and to swiftly correct every wrong character that we see gradually developing. yes, as the popular saying goes, spare the rod, and spoil the child, we can agree that rod has helped in building our children's character, but has it succeeded in sustaining it? A child can go through his childhood days in dread of the rod, but he soon get used to the pain, and can now comfortable flaunt instructions because he has going used to his now-gone-mild companion; The rod. we have to understand that the rod here, does not solely imply the whip we use in correcting our children; this term implies the combination of several methods or an supreme method in carrying out proper child discipline.
What method is the best to apply when carry out this unavoidable task of bringing out the bad from your child, and replacing it with a good, admirable character? You might have heard a lot of counsel as regards child training and discipline, but here i postulate one method that supersedes other, and i will ensure that i passed to you this message in clear terms that you will not find hard to comprehend.

How can you determine whats best for your child without the one who has the best of thoughts for all humanity. I am talking about God here, and nobody else, only Him and His method can give your child the best discipline method in this single way.

The word of God, when it must have successfully penetrated the heart of your child, it leaves him with a concrete reason to hate evil and love good, wherever and whenever evil betides. Parents must start using the word of God as a tool to discipline and disciple their children. when a child does a wrong thing, as a parent you are expected to sit that child down and correct in love via God's word, by so doing, you are building up the fear of God in that child, which will result to a sophisticated and vibrant youth for the lord.
