HOW TO BREAK THE YOKE OF SIN

This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.
But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.
GAL 5:16-18
I see many believers trying to live right and to please God but are being held back by sin. they feel that they cannot break free from sin. but in today's scripture the Bible didnt say stop sinning rather it says walk in the Spirit. Hallelujah. you see what God is trying to teach us today is God consciousness and not sin consciousness. to be aware constantly of your sins is to be under the yoke of sin. I believe the best preaching of the word is a practiced word. So let me tell you about me then. I used try by my own self to stop somethings that I thought was sin until this scripture became real to me. then I began to ignore the sins in my life. whenever I feel like I have fallen; this what I do. I ask for his forgiveness believing He will forgive me

the next question is how then do we walk in the Spirit?
let me continue the testimony. After I have asked for forgiveness the next most important step is to believe I am forgiven. then I spend every free time I have reading my Bible and meditating on it. The word then begins to saturate me and somethings that I was struggling I began to lose appetite for it. why is that so; simply because my consciousness is tuned to knowing God more rather than how to stop sin. The more you search for him the more you find him and because He cannot dwell where there is darkness his mere presence with you will drive out sin or the appetite for sin. it is important therefore to develop the inner man. From constantly reading the word you get led to pray more. therefore the more I read His word the more I pray and the more I pray the more He leads me to read the word.

the more your word life and prayer life improves the more intune you are with his Spirit. That is how you build your private altar for God and walk in his Spirit. Guilt is not of God. If you ever feel guilty remember he will forgive whenever you ash him to. however this is not a license to continue in the same sin but rather understanding the power that the word of God is able to deliver us from sin and present us holy before him.
His word is indeed powerful never find yourself empty without the word for that is living a life of defeat.
