"Man born of a woman is of few days and full of trouble.
He cometh forth like a flower, and is cut down: he fleeth also as a shadow, and continueth not."- Job 14:1-2.
Live is filled with so many uncertainty and illusions. Life is riff with pains and harshness that no one man can explain.
I wonder at the depth of this scripture because simple as it reads out, it holds true to every word it spews.
I am presently making a trip from Awka in Anambra State back to Port Harcourt, Rivers State after attending and being a part of the SteemCamp 5 Aside Football Tournament.
You see, we fail to hold fast to the true essence of the most important aspects of life's true and sincere hustle.
We move past the most daring aspects that truly speaks meaning to the purpose of living.
Wait a minute; have you read the book "The purpose driven life?" well, I think you should even if you have.
Why? Simple, for starters, it will help you to be able to put plan into action and align yourself to what you are created to be in life's masterplan.
Man born of a woman is of few days and his life is filled with trouble.- You will agree to this saying if you take a closer and more precise look into your own life.
The hustle we go through daily, the hustle we have come to so much glorify, is one of seeking to become someone else instead of living to outdo the pain we are designed for.
No one man came into existence with money or material possessions; but we now live to lead a life constantly filled with strivings for material possessions. This leads so many to validating the claim made by Job in the Bible.
We constantly are in a cross road of what we know is right against what we want to do to satisfy selfish pursuit.
Common, this is practically true:- *We are more than conquerors no doubt but stylishly, we have used the stupidity not of ours to turn ourselves to conquerors and then the conquered. We conquer ourselves because we have become materialistic and vain.
Man cometh forth like a flower.- Take a look at a new born child, we just love to cuddle them, kiss them, play with them...they are so delicate and they can be likened to flowers, beautiful of good color and smell.
We all passed through that phase, we were once everyone's favorite. We were cuddly 🐻 .
He is cut down- We never are able to stay young and cuddly forever. The cuteness fades with more of the things go we are thought than of age.
That little child becomes less cuddly and sweet smelling, he becomes like the rest if us -corrupt and unredeemable.
I just hate this part.
He fleeth as a shadow and continueth not.- Oouch! Aren't we all a victim of this last line? We flee the purpose of what God truly has planned for us and chase after what society tells us we need.
We strive to be like the others instead of staying loyal to that uniqueness that makes us simply amazing.
My PoV:
I try do not know how to explain what the Bible says or for that matter the stuffs I hear on daily basis, but I am so sure I can make some conscious effort to pass some twists to myself first, and then maybe just one of you out there.
Man born of woman is the most significantly misunderstood creature on planet earth moreso because, he chose a cause different from what originally he is created for.
Fighting the battles of life can be really tasking and tiring especially when we fight the wrong ones.
I am who I am and despite the little fails I have come to so clearly identify around my life, I look to become that little child I once was. *That little child that gets cuddled and kissed and carried and pampered and loved. I want to be that little cuddly 🐻. *
Living for the true purpose of your life comes first and when you are truly yourself, (and this means without deceit because you want to deceive others and especially yourself) you will be able to navigate through life successfully despite that fact that... as a man you were born with a timetable full of troubles and struggles.
I am filled with love more than I can explain and I just want to be loved back so the troubles don't win me over to the pits of hate.
