Sometimes when you have pet's in the house, it is safer to have plastic decorations to avoid injuries.
While I am on this topic, remember that some pet's have been known to eat tinsel and this can be very bad ....... be careful!!!
I also have a cat friend that loves to chew Christmas light bulbs on the tree...... Cats!!! LOL!!!
