Well Christmas came and went very quickly, all that hard work for 24 hours, if that. Glad it only comes once a year.
Its been pretty quiet here today just me, hubby and my daughter. We didn't have anything planned as its Boxing day we use this day to rest and recuperate from celebrating Christmas. I had a lie in which I throughly enjoyed, I was woken with a shout from downstairs saying "sandwichs are ready if your hungry" so I got up for a bite to eat, we then played a game of Uno with my daughter, she's 24 and still loves playing card games and board games.
There was a film coming on the TV, Bad Boys for life, We have seen it before so knew it was a good film. I then dozed on the sofa, nothing needed doing so why not.
Boxing day is always a quiet day, its now every other Boxing day as My oldest daughter alternates her visits with her partners family. We got her this Christmas so they have them today which is good as it's her partners birthday on Boxing day.
Hubby made us cheese and crackers for tea, think we are still getting over our Christmas day dinner. We never eat meals on a Boxing day, we pick at nibbles, back to cooking meals tomorrow.
I thought I was done with early morning since Christmas is over but saw some cups in the shops that I really liked, they have messed with my brain so going to see if I can get them in the morning, I'm going to have to be up And outside the shop for them opening as they had Christmas detail so week be taken off the shelfs tomorrow, plus I also saw a mirror that I wanted for the top of my stairs. I have set Alexa for half 8am then possibly back to bed when I'm finished, depends on how I am feeling.
I played my weekend game of bingo, didn't win, it does keep my brain busy for a while and stops me over thinking. Its now time for bed and hopefully sleep will follow soon after. When hubby comes to bed he's asleep before his head hits the pillow, I could be lying awake until 3 or 4am.
Anyway I'm lying in bed when my daughter sends me these gorgeous photos of her Parrotlet Sprout.
She found a hiding place under Nicholas's blanket then decided to have a nap.
Shes so cute but can be a handful especially when she is moulting. She goes from being lovely to a Tyrannosaurus Rex wanting to fly/run at you with her break open for a bite.
Time for bed pups are yawning.
Thank you for visiting. 💟💟
