Christmas is here but I am sure you have never thought at the following facts:

For many of us Christmas is not the date of the year, not a season and the snow, but it is rather a feeling. The true spirit of Christmas means the acceptance of Jesus as the best thing that ever happened to humanity, the acceptance of peace and goodwill, to give full compassion with others.
Apart from this feelings and joy, there are a lot of facts around the celebration of Christmas. A lot of facts and myths that were told to us since were little and since Christmas was the best time of the year for us
Here are a couple of facts that you didn't think about or you didn't know:
- For Santa Claus to deliver gifts to all families in the world he should be able to visit 822 homes in a second, that means he should run with a speed of 650 km/h
- There are 33,000,000 Christmas trees sold only in the US, every year
- It takes 15 years to grow a Christmas tree to be good for sale
- Many parts of a Christmas tree are eatable, being an excellent source of vitamin C
- There is a postal code that includes "Ho-Ho-Ho" and it was specially created for Santa Claus
- There are 3 billion Christmas greetings sent annually only in the US
- The red nose of the Rudolph's reindeer is a result of a parasite infection
- In the Czech Republic, it is believed that if there is an odd number of people at a Christmas table, the unaccompanied person will die
- There are in fact 13 Santa Claus in Iceland. They have names like "Spoon Spoon," "Meat Hook" and "Door Opener".
