Celebrate Immortality. - Poem for the Christmas 🎄
So many things pass away,
we heard about his goodness,
Many hidden stories untold,
we met the Holy book,
Too many paths go untaken,
futures that never unfold.
Disciples go unseen, eyes never meet,
fruits of life untasted,
bitter or sweet?
Life a short journey, here, then there.
How I wish I meet him, nothing to share,
no one care, but we want him.
Do we have to celebrate Chrismas once a year?
He deserves better.
A world of lies, sights are forgotten, love was forsaken, who knows his colour?
How I wish I met the immortal King, this life will have been more valid,
I fought for a wrong cause,
my only aspiration is eternal life.
Let my head rest upon your shoulder,
warm as the world grows colder.
Do we really have to celebrate Chrismas once a year,
he deserves better.
