Earlier this morning around 4:30 we attended one of the nine day midnight mass which we call misa De Gallo here in the Philippines. It is not really a midnight mass but an early morning one. People back then just called it so and it carried on until this day. Catholics celebrate this novena mass in our country during the Christmas season December 16 to 24. Not everyone can attend an early morning mass so others make an anticipated schedule usually early at night. There are some people who still prefers the traditional mass including the kind of songs the choir sing. I know one church that still uses the Latin songs or the Pastorela and that is where we headed to. The one on the above photo is that church, the Our Lady of Divine Grace in Mabalacat Pampanga. I just love listening to the songs in Latin and the choir did a great job too.
That is such an experience for me to finally hear this kind of mass which I almost always fail to attend because of the schedule. I am thankful me and my family with some good friends managed to be there no matter what
