Hello Steemians,
I want to wish you all a Merry Christmas and share my Christmas wishes and prayers.
I pray that in the midst of all the presents, the food, the merrymaking,
we may remember to be grateful more than just what is around us.
Be grateful for our families.
Be grateful for our friends.
Be grateful for all those who have sacrifice so that we do not have to.
Be grateful for the great many blessings that have been given to us.
Even when times seem hard, and there does not seem to be anything worth being grateful for, remember that every breath is a gift. Every moment is a treasure, an opportunity to make the world a better place than we left it.
Whatever your status or current circumstances in life, on this most holy of days, remember all of the blessings given to us, and the fulfilled promise of our Savior's birth.
I leave you with these verses from Luke 2:10-14.
But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in >the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find a >baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.”
Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying,
“Glory to God in the highest heaven,
and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.”
