Kentucky is one of those places which doesn't automatically spring to mind when thinking about beautiful churches.
Nevertheless, there is an absolutely stunning Roman Catholic Church in the town of Covington, Kentucky -- the Mother of God Church.
I actually attended an early morning service there, was greeted by some very sweet nuns, and enjoyed beautiful singing and prayers.
The interior is really quite astonishing, definitely not what one might expect. There was also some beautiful stained glass, which I will get to in another post.
