I love adventure movies and I can't even count how many times I've seen and reviewed the Indiana Jones movies and the closely related "The Mummy" dilation, and of course I couldn't get past "National Treasure" with Nicolas Cage, which weaves fun facts about the history of the United States into the adventure movie.
I can't say that I'm crazy about the latest film of this franchise, but once I caught it on TV I got stuck on it and even put off all my household chores and work "for later".
In fact, at the beginning of last year, Jerry Bruckheimer said that a series based on the film's universe was in development at Disney+ and it finally went into production. The studio has ordered the first 10-episode season, and without Cage :)
His place will take a young Hispanic actress, and in addition to the central theme of the treasure hunt, the series will focus on the disclosure of current issues of identity, society, history and, of course, patriotism. Considering how much attention Disney pays to quality - it could be a great adventure show.
