Last November at the age of 86, died the biggest Russian clown. He began working at age 12 as a worker for Pravda, but due to his athletics skills, he applied for Moscow State College Circus and he started to work with the Moscow Circus.
After a tour in 1955 in Poland, France, Belgium and England, he became a circus star worldwide.
He was a juggler, clown and mime and also after the collapse of Soviet Union, he resettled to Germany and performed with success.
He returned in Russia in 2015 after 3 decades living in Germany and was awarded and greeted with a long standing ovation for his contribute to the circus arts.
