Trying to find some beauty in ugly corners of megalopolis. Normally Saint-Petersburg is very beautiful and inspiring city, with a lot of palaces and monuments, great architecture and flying bridges. But in some parts outside of the center, Saint-Petersburg has this Grey and creepy Soviet look.
I would say here Saint-P shows his Leningrad's face. For me this photos looks more like a drawing, my lens is not the best one for this light, and sometimes it turns photos to something else. I made some experiments with the colors a little, to have more of this painting effect. Now it's look like comics for me.
We had a really nice boat trip with my friends in this summer while I was visit my home town first time in last 5 years. Stories about it you can read here, if you are interested.
