Just before Christmas I attended a car show where I took many photographs, spoke to some of the owners, and generally grabbed more content than can go in one post. The event was 'Pattaya Cars on the Beach 2021'. Held at the south end of Pattaya So I'll be stretching this out into several posts as there were some really unique vehicles, each deserving thier own spotlight.
BMW E30 with LS V8 swap, with quirky detailing pairing Thai & Car Culture perfectly.
This was one such car, a very thoroughbred looking BMW 3 series, the classic E30 which was the second generation of the now very famous 3-er range. Manufactured from 1982-1994, (in Germany as well as South Africa) this model enjoyed a long 12 year run. However, this particular example is a far cry from how it came from the factory! Almost every part is bespoke, and the insane 5 inch flared arches are so sick, you wonder if they called in Akira Naka for pointers.
Most revealing of all however, are the riduculous size of the wheels and tires along with the not-so-subtle "V8" badges on the wings. Pictures will do the rest of the story telling !!!!
Absolute beuaty and just one example of the insane level of detail and awesomeness that tuners in Thailand are achieving nowadays.
The closer you get the more you notice
I really liked the paint job also, almost sinister.
It's all squeezed in there somehow ...
Thanks, this wasn't the only E30 on show, I'll round the rest up into another post. Plus tons more to come from all that I've captured in recent months. Thanks for follows, likes, subscribes, and check me out on Instagram.com/@rosswlkr ...
