Fair points — the energy transition absolutely has regional differences and real costs. But globally, the trend still matters. Renewables passing coal in total generation shows how quickly technology and economics are shifting.
Sure, subsidies and backup systems play a role, but so did they for fossil fuels for decades — from tax breaks to infrastructure investment. The real story is that renewable power keeps getting cheaper, cleaner, and more scalable over time.
Not perfect yet, but definitely progress for both the climate and the planet.
