Time .... it just keeps moving. I don't know how many people actually have watches/time pieces, with the cell phone the watch is going the way of the printed phonebook.
I think I will be dating myself, but I can remember picking up the phone and dialing a number to hear the atomic clock time.
The Atomic clock is very precise, and is based on atomic physics. It uses electron transition frequency as a frequency standard for the timekeeping element. So when we turn on our cell phone or our weather alert station, we are connecting to the Atomic clock.
Interestingly some countries have several Atomic clocks and they all sync together to up the accuracy
So now with the Apple watch and it's competitors, we are now merging the watch and the cell phone.
Sadly, with the digital clock many people are not able to tell time on a traditional clock with hands..... Kind if hard to believe.....and as a culture we are so tied to the time of day.
I think we all need to sometime put away the clock, turn off the phone and just be for awhile!
So...... If you have the time......unwind and unplug that clock......
