"Last night the opening of the Desert Song Festival http://www.desertsong.com.au/ took place on the Church Lawns off Todd Mall in Alice Springs. The director Stuart Morris asked if i might bring lanterns. I brought red tail black cockatoo flags too and these were beautifully lit.
It was a magic night, a sing-up led by the Central Australian Aboriginal Women's choir. Peace as community practice.
