After being with my girlfriend in China for four years I was desperate to take her out of China for the first time to show her a different country and culture! China is so different to any other country I've ever been to as you can probably imagine :D
We chose Bali, Indonesia simply because it was cheap. I'm from England so I'm sure we'll go there eventually and I'd love to show her more of the world but funds are currently limited so Bali was a good choice for us!
The first thing she noticed stepping off the plane was the fresh air! As you've probably heard of China's pollution problem. Because the skies are clear she was also able to see a beautiful night sky filled with stars. One of the biggest things I miss living in China is staring at the stars at night so it was nice to see her have this experience!
Another thing she instantly noticed was how much quieter it is! China has a huge population so it was a nice change and experience for her!
It was a fantastic holiday and we loved every minute of it! I can't wait to take her somewhere again! Hopefully out of Asia next time! Not that there's anything wrong with Asia, I love Asia! It's just that she's never been out before :D
